Smokeless Cigarettes Reviews
Category: FAQAs government legislation makes it increasingly difficult for tobacco smokers to indulge their habit, smokeless cigarettes are becoming more and more popular as a viable, and much less damaging, alternative. In most western countries you can no longer smoke in bars, restaurants, offices, train stations… in fact just about anywhere there are other people.
Smokeless Cigarettes
As a smoker, there are several ways of indulging your nicotine habit without smoking regular cigarettes – the most popular being nicotine patches or gum. While these undoubtedly help some people to obtain nicotine in a less harmful way, they don’t provide the sensation of smoking, and thus most smokers find them inherently unsatisfying. This is where smokeless cigarettes come into their own. As the name suggests, they don’t produce any noxious smoke at all, and so allow you a means of ‘lighting up’ in many places where tobacco smoking is outlawed; and of course you get all the associated health benefits of switching to a much less harmful product.

A smokeless cigarette consists of a battery with an LED at it’s tip, an atomizer and a cartridge (sometimes separately and sometimes together as a ‘cartomizer’). The battery forms the body of the unit – the white part of a regular cigarette; while the atomizer and cartridge, or the cartomizer, look like the filter section. Operation is simple: taking a puff of the e-cigarette causes a sensor in the battery to activate the atomizer which vaporizes the fluid in the cartridge. It also switches on the LED, so the tip looks like it’s glowing like a normal cigarette would. The vapor produced by the atomizer contains flavoring and nicotine, and this is what you inhale. As soon as you finish inhaling, the sensor deactivates the atomizer and switches off the LED. This cycle is repeated every time you take a puff.
You can see a list of the main attractions of switching to smokeless cigarettes here: Why Smoke E-Cigarettes?, but one reason that’s becoming more pertinent is that people who smoke are becoming increasingly fed up with being ostracized by the rest of society. It’s impossible not to be aware of the harm tobacco does to you and those around you, and so as a smoker you’ll likely harbor some guilt about the harmful nature of your habit anyway, and being reminded of it at every turn doesn’t help. What makes changing to electronic, or smokeless, cigarettes so attractive is that you can become a non-smoker whilst still ’smoking’! You’ll no longer feel like a leper, and you can immediately feel better about yourself as you won’t feel guilty about making others breathe your second-hand smoke.
